  1. Attention all students who ride a bus.  You have 5 minutes to get to the bus after the end of 7th period.  Buses will leave the HUB at 3:25pm.  Please be sure to get to your bus as soon as you can after school.
 
  1. Do you have a picture showcasing some Squire spirit? Your picture showing school spirit could appear on this week’s video announcement. Share your picture on Instagram or Twitter using #squirespiritphoto and you might be showcased this week. Go Squires!!
 
  1. Just a reminder that the Beacon Credit Union scholarship is available to those who have accounts (or your parents have accounts)  Due date is January 27.
 
  1. January 27th at 7:30am MAKER MORNINGS, compete with chai and hot chocolate.  We begin with a Circuit Competition.  Learn how to make simple circuits using Makey Makey and Little Bits and then compete a challenge to make the most creative invention.   January 31st at 3:30pm  STARBOOKS, snacks, drinks, and book talks from the North Manchester Public Library.
 
  1. Auditions for Shrek are happening all week.  The show is open to all high school students.  Sign up for an audition time and pick up a packet in the Music Hallway.
 
  1. The Chester Champs 4-H club meets TONIGHT at 7 p.m. in the MHS cafeteria.  Come ready to elect officers and learn important dates for this year in 4-H .
 
  1. The Knights of Pythias Scholarship is now available in the guidance office. See Mrs. Denney for a copy of the scholarship. Deadline to apply is January 25th.
 
  1. Don't forget about the Physicians Health Plan Scholarship for any senior planning to pursue a career in a health related field. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Apply at www.phpni.com  Click on the the 2016-17 scholarship program. Deadline to apply is Feb. 17.
 
  1. Any student age 13-17 interested in the Fort Wayne Zoo Z-Team Volunteer and Leadership program should visit www.kidszoo.org/support-the-zoo/teen-volunteers/ for information. A flyer is posted in the commons on the Scholarship bulletin board.
 
  1. The Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship is available to any senior whose parent is battling breast cancer or who has lost a parent to breast cancer. Deadline to apply is February 3.
