  1.  Attention all students who ride a bus.  You have 5 minutes to get to the bus after the end of 7th period.  Buses will leave the HUB at 3:25 p.m.  Please be sure to get to your bus as soon as you can after school.
  2. Do you have a picture showcasing some Squire Spirit?  Your picture showing school spirit could appear on this week’s video announcement.  Share your picture on Instragram or Twitter using #squirespiritphoto and you might be showcased this week.  Go Squires!!
  3. Seniors:  Any student in the top third of the senior class should see Mrs.Denney today for a copy of the Rotary Senior Scholarship.  One male and one female will be chosen for this $1000 award.  The committee is looking for students who are active in school and community projects.  Deadline to return to Mrs. Denney is Monday, May 1st.
 
  1. Feeling Crafty?  Friday morning, Maker Morning will host a card-making class from Ms. Lautzenheiser   She will be showing you how to make great Mother's Day cards!  Next week we'll make Father's Day cards....All supplies are provided as well as hot chocolate and chai!  Join us at 7:30 in the media center! All welcome!
  2. The American Legion Auxiliary Scholarship is now available in the guidance office.  Deadline to apply is April 30.
 
  1. 4-H members and families are asked to participate in the National 4-H Day of Service from 10am-12noon on Saturday, April 29.  Please sign up for either date by clicking the link and completing the information at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/904054fafac2ca75-ipledge.  You may also call the Extension Office at 260-563-0661 to sign-up.
  2. There are several livestock, 4-H camp, and queen registration deadlines fast approaching for 4-H members.  Please check your 4-H calendar, the Purdue Extension Wabash County Facebook page, or www.extension.purdue.edu/wabash for the most up to date 4-H information.  At this time, our 4H Online e-mail system is still not working so be sure to check the Facebook page, the website and to watch your mail for reminder postcards.

New Ethnicity Reporting

The federal government has recently changed the categories for reporting racial and ethnic information in order to provide a more accurate picture of the nation's ethnic and racial diversity.
