1. Any high school girl interested in playing basketball this year needs to pick up an information handout from Coach Everett by Monday Oct. 6. A call out meeting will take place on Monday Oct. 13 at 7:45am in room 203.

2. The Richard Lugar Minority Scholarship is available in the guidance office. Eligibility requirements include the following:  Be a minority senior (African American, Hispanic or Native American): Minimum SAT of 1000 on Critical Reading and Math combined or ACT composite of 22; GPA of 3.0.  Deadline to apply is December 5 so see Mrs. Denney immediately if interested.

3.  Jr. High Cheerleading tryout practices for the winter season will be on Monday, October 6th and Tuesday October 7th from 3:30 - 5:30.  Tryout Date is Wednesday, October 8th.  More information is available in the high school office.
4.  Attention Seniors:  This is your only week to order a senior class shirt.  The cost is $15 and your order is due by this Friday, Oct.3.  Remember this is the shirt you will be wearing in your senior class picture which is Oct. 15!!  You can pick up order forms at the front office, from Mr. Zinsmeister or Mrs. Mize.  Order yours TODAY!!

5. Attention Seniors:  Next Wednesday, October 8, Josten's will be here at lunch time for you to place your order for your cap and gown, graduation announcements, and several other senior items.  Be sure to get your order ready for Oct. 8.

6. Attention FFA members:  This Saturday, October 4 is our BARN DANCE!!  Can't wait to see everyone there for a great night of dancing and having big fun!!  Please sign up in the ag room if you are planning to attend.

7. Attention all 4-H members:  Would you like to win $50.  If you design the 2015 Parade of Champion T-shirt that is exactly what you will win!!  If you are interested in using your skills in artistic design and 4-H knowledge please see Mrs. Mize by this Friday in order to earn $50.

8.  There will be a Wabash County Chess Tournament this Sunday, October 5 at the Winchester Senior Center in Wabash.   If interested, email for more information.

11.  Breakfast Friday:  Breakfast Pizza, Yogurt Parfait with Blueberry Muffin,  Pop Tart, Bagel, Fruit, Juice, Milk

12.  Lunch Friday:  Homemade Cheese or BBQ Chicken Pizza, Steamed Corn/Garden Salad, Pineapple/Pears, Milk or SALAD BAR
