Due to recent bad weather and the cancellation of classes, students will be in school on the following two Snow Make-Up Days:   Monday, February 20 and Friday, May 4. 

The School Board will hold a Public Work Session on Tuesday, January 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the Administration Offices.  The session will be to discuss proposed building maintenance projects.

Orders due:  10am - MES, MIS, MJSHS, MAO (Administration Offices)

Order pick-up:  10:00am - 3:30pm Friday of same week

Thirteen Indiana school corporations are part of an elite group of 367 school districts nationwide that earned a spot on the College Board’s second annual Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Roll. While the number of school districts receiving recognition across the United States decreased, Indiana saw an increase in the number of school corporations making the cut. After receiving national recognition for increasing student access to AP courses earlier this year, Indiana’s schools are continuing to see improvement in both AP achievement and participation. <read more>

Beginning on Wednesday, August 24, 2010, MCS schools will have a 20 or 30-minuted delayed start for teacher collaboration time. MJSHS will start at 8:35 a.m. MES and MIS will start at 8:50.

The federal government has recently changed the categories for reporting racial and ethnic information in order to provide a more accurate picture of the nation's ethnic and racial diversity.

This spring we are asking students or parents to complete a brief form so that we may update our records with the more accurate information. MES and MIS students will be bringing these forms home in their midterm report cards. Parents should complete a form for each student and return it in the report card envelope.
