Beginning with the 2011-2012 school year, MCS will employ the option of implementing a 3 hour delay when the weather demands it. If a 3 hour delay is declared, school will start 3 hours later than normally scheduled and dismiss 1 hour later than normally scheduled.

School Messenger
School Messenger, an automated telephone calling system, will call you with any weather delay or cancellation. The system will leave a message on your answering machine if you do not answer the phone. For most calls, the system will contact the first number on the student's information sheet.
Please answer the telephone or listen to the message when you see that MCS is calling in order to hear the recorded message.
Many of the messages that MCS sends out via School Messenger are also sent out in the form of SMS or Text Messages. To receive Text messages we must have your current cell phone number in our system. Then you will need to Opt-in by Texting the word "Subscribe" to 68453. If you wish to no longer receive these text messages (Opt-out) Text the word "stop" to 68453. You may Opt-in and Opt-out as many as you would like. Please note: all of our messages cannot be sent out in a proper text message format.
